  5. Ch'ing Dynasty (A.D. 1644-

  7.      This rosary-bracelet 
  8. consists of 18 beads of 
  9. fragrant wood, each of 
  10. which is inlaid with four 
  11. "longevity" medallions, 
  12. two in gold and two in 
  13. miniature pearls.  It also 
  14. incorporates two large 
  15. jadeite "Fo-t'ou" (Buddha's 
  16. head) beads, one jadeite 
  17. "Fo-t'ou-t'a" (Buddha's 
  18. head pagoda),  a jasper 
  19. pendant, two jasper drops,  
  20. two jadeite caps inlaid 
  21. with gemstones, and five 
  22. decorative assemblages of 
  23. white miniature pearls.
